Last tested: June 2026
Tester: independent reviewer (Germany)
Deposit: 33.74 NZD (~19.8 USDT BEP20), June 6, 2026
Withdrawal status: COMPLETED — June 13, 2026, 14:08 (30.06 NZD / ~17.3 USDT; first request cancelled, total ~4 days 9 hours from the first attempt)
⚠️ This test was run by a European player from Germany. Region-specific payment methods (POLi) aren’t available. The KYC, withdrawal, and support findings apply fully regardless of region.
Verdict
FortunePlay is a casino that creates its own problems in places where it easily could have avoided them.
The core story of this test: the casino lets you submit a withdrawal request without warning that your profile is incomplete or that KYC hasn’t been done. About 24 hours later, the request is silently cancelled, followed by an email demanding you fill in your address and upload documents. The player loses a full day for nothing — and only then does the real process start. Once KYC was done, the second withdrawal attempt took ~48 hours. Total time from the first request to money in hand: ~4 days 9 hours.
A second irritant: a mandatory 3x wager on the deposit — even with no bonus active — with no progress counter anywhere. The casino requires you to wager it off, and gives you no way to track how much is left.
A third: a technical bug. Evolution slots — one of the largest live-content providers — don’t work with an NZD balance.
Support is the one clear bright spot: live agents, specific answers, chat history saved and downloadable.
Our verdict: not recommended. The casino’s objective safety reputation is solid (Safety Index 8.4), but the withdrawal process as it currently stands is needlessly complicated and opaque. If speed and clarity matter to you, pick a casino from our recommended list with a confirmed fast withdrawal.

How We Tested
Every casino on our site goes through a full testing cycle — from registration to money actually landing in an account. No honest review without a real deposit.
Our independent reviewer tested FortunePlay in June 2026:
- Registration from scratch
- Real deposit of 33.74 NZD (~19.8 USDT, BEP20) — bonus not activated
- A gameplay session clearing the mandatory 3x wager on slots
- Three support inquiries (bot + live agent)
- First withdrawal request (June 9, 05:05) — cancelled after ~23.5 hours
- KYC verification: document upload, waiting for approval
- Second withdrawal request (June 11, 14:07) — 30.06 NZD
- Wallet arrival: June 13, 14:08:02 (17.2972 USDT, BSC BEP20)
- Every stage documented with timestamped screenshots
License and Reliability
FortunePlay launched in 2024. The operator is Novatrix SRL, confirmed independently across multiple sources — not Dama N.V., which some secondary review sites incorrectly cite. The casino’s affiliate program is called Rooster Partners (that’s a partner/referral program, not the operator).
Important correction to our own test brief: the license was assumed to be Curaçao pending verification. Independent research shows this is inaccurate — Novatrix SRL operates under a Tobique Gaming Commission license (E-Gaming License No. 0000002), a regulator based in the Tobique First Nation, New Brunswick, Canada, established in 2023, with the company itself registered in Costa Rica (reg. no. 3-102-893958). Industry sources describe Tobique as a mid-tier licensing framework — better than an unregulated operator, but with less intensive oversight than Malta or the UK.
Safety Index: 8.4 (High) per Casino.guru — source: casino.guru. That’s a solid figure; Casino.guru places casinos at this index level in its recommended category for most players. The underlying reputational base is decent, even accounting for the license correction above.
Registration and First Deposit
First deposit
The tester deposited ~19.8 USDT (BEP20), credited as 33.74 NZD to the game balance (June 6, 03:42). The casino converts crypto to a local fiat balance — in this test, run from a New Zealand geolocation, that balance was held in NZD. A player in Nigeria will see a different base currency, but the mechanics (crypto in, converted to a local fiat balance) are the same; the NZD figures throughout this review are simply what our tester’s account displayed.
A bonus applied automatically. The tester declined it — a deliberately important decision (see the Bonuses section below).
Bonuses and Deposit Wagering
What happens right after depositing
The bonus applies automatically, with no action required from the player. Our tester deposited 33.74 NZD and saw in the account:
- Balance: 67.48 NZD (deposit × 2)
- Real money: 0.00 NZD
- Bonus money: 67.48 NZD
The entire deposit was locked as “bonus money.” Real funds aren’t available for withdrawal while the bonus is active.

Two independent wagering requirements
FortunePlay runs two conditions simultaneously:
| Situation | Wager | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Bonus active | 40x the bonus amount | 33.74 × 40 = 1,349.6 NZD |
| Bonus cancelled — withdrawal | 3x the deposit amount | 33.74 × 3 = ~101 NZD |
Our tester cancelled the bonus (a Cancel button right in the interface). Real funds (33.74 NZD) returned to the balance. But they still had to be wagered 3x before a withdrawal could be requested — with no progress bar or counter anywhere.

No progress counter
After cancelling the bonus, the casino nowhere shows how much of the mandatory 3x remains. The tester tracked it manually. Compare this with BC.Game, where wager progress is visible in real time right on the main screen.
What else the casino offers after deposit
Alongside the cash bonus, 100 free spins on 2 selected slots become available automatically. Valid for 3 days, also with a Cancel button.
Bonus Shop (RCP)

The casino awards Reward Comp Points (RCP): 1 RCP per €20 wagered on slots. Points can be exchanged in the Bonus Shop for free spins, cash rewards, subscriptions, and physical devices — up to an iPhone 16 Pro Max (72,500 RCP) and a MacBook Pro (108,000 RCP). Reaching the iPhone tier requires €1,450,000+ in slot wagers — realistic only for VIP-level players.
VIP system
Tiers: Kitten → Caracal → [further tiers]. Starting tier is Kitten (0/500 CP). Progression unlocks improved cashback terms and exclusive offers.
Daily Lucky Spin — a no-strings bonus, once per day.
Games
FortunePlay offers games from 169 providers, including Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Play’n GO, BGaming.

Slots
The tester spent significant time on slots to clear the mandatory 3x wager. Loading was stable, no lag recorded.
⚠️ Live Casino — a critical bug for players on an NZD balance
Evolution slots don’t work with an NZD balance.
Evolution is the world’s largest live-dealer content provider — blackjack, roulette, baccarat, game shows. On FortunePlay, this content is technically inaccessible for players with an NZD balance. This isn’t a terms restriction — it’s a bug.

Support
This is where FortunePlay outperformed expectations.
How it works:
| Parameter | Result |
|---|---|
| First contact | Bot “AutoReply” (Fin) |
| Live agent | ✅ Available via “Contact support” |
| Agent name in this test | Theo |
| Answer quality | Specific, substantive |
| Chat transcript download | ✅ “Download transcript” — built into the interface |
| Chat history saved between sessions | ✅ A Messages section with history |
| Intrusive pop-ups/notifications | ❌ None |
Withdrawal timing as stated by the live agent (Theo):
“We aim to process all the withdrawals within 72 hours no matter the payment method used. Crypto withdrawal after confirmation might take couple hours.”
The AutoReply bot gave a more detailed answer: manual review takes 24–72 hours depending on load, and after approval, crypto withdrawal completes within 1 hour.
What matters: once our withdrawal was approved, funds arrived in the wallet in ~1 minute. The crypto transfer itself was essentially instant. The bottleneck isn’t transaction speed — it’s the 48-hour manual review window.

Withdrawal
This is the most important section — where a casino’s real honesty gets tested.
Officially stated: processing within 72 hours (per the live agent).

The tester opened the withdrawal section. Available methods: NTLR, MiFinity, Skrill (all with a NZ$30 minimum) and Crypto. Withdrawable balance: 30.06 NZD (all real money, bonus balance 0.00).
The tester selected Crypto.

On the first withdrawal to a new crypto address, the casino sends an email requiring click-through confirmation. On-site message: “Due to security reasons the address never used before needs to be confirmed by email.” Not standard at most casinos — a reasonable security measure, though it adds friction on a first withdrawal.

The key moment of this test. About 23.5 hours after the request, an email arrived:
“Your cash-out request of 30.06 NZD was canceled. Please, fill in personal information in your account (address). Please upload proof of ID…”
The casino cancelled the withdrawal because the profile’s address field wasn’t filled in and KYC hadn’t been completed.
The core question: why does the casino allow submitting a request without this data, and wait almost a full day before mentioning it? The logical fix — check these requirements before accepting the request, and grey out the withdrawal button if the profile is incomplete.
Tester: “It’s unclear why there’s even an option to withdraw without KYC in the first place. To avoid dragging out the process, there should be an immediate warning that withdrawal isn’t possible without KYC. As it stands, the player loses a full day waiting.”

Profile → Verification → Documents. Required: photo ID (passport, driver’s license) + proof of address no older than 90 days showing name, address, and issue date. Important detail: statements from Revolut, N26, Wise, LuxonPay, and Amazon are not accepted.
The tester uploaded three documents. No approval timeframe was stated on the site.

KYC approved. The tester submitted a second request for 30.06 NZD via Crypto.

A transaction of 17.2972 USDT confirmed, BSC (BEP20) network. Per support, the withdrawal was approved at June 13, 2026, 12:07:22 UTC (14:07 Berlin time). Funds appeared in the wallet ~1 minute after approval.

Full timeline:
| Date & time | Event |
|---|---|
| Jun 6, 03:42 | 33.74 NZD deposit accepted |
| Jun 9, 05:03 | Withdrawal section opened |
| Jun 9, 05:05 | First withdrawal request: 30.06 NZD |
| Jun 9, 05:06 | Email: confirm new wallet address |
| Jun 10, ~04:35 | Email: withdrawal CANCELLED, address + KYC required |
| Jun 10 | KYC documents uploaded |
| ~Jun 11 morning | KYC approved (no email notification) |
| Jun 11, 14:07 | Second withdrawal request: 30.06 NZD |
| Jun 13, 12:07 UTC | Withdrawal approved by the casino |
| Jun 13, 14:08:02 | 17.2972 USDT received in wallet |
| Jun 13, 14:12 | Approval email |
| Total (from 1st request) | ~4 days 9 hours |
| Total (from 2nd request) | ~48 hours |
Fee: 0.20 USDT for transaction processing (30.06 NZD → 17.2972 USDT).
Important nuance: the second withdrawal (48 hours) technically fits within the stated 72-hour maximum. But a player reading that figure on the casino’s site has no way of knowing they’ll first lose a day to a cancelled request and another day to KYC.
Payment Methods
Contrary to a common assumption, FortunePlay is not a crypto-only casino. Available methods:
| Method | Minimum Withdrawal |
|---|---|
| NTLR | NZ$30 |
| MiFinity | NZ$30 |
| Skrill | NZ$30 |
| Crypto (BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, USDT, BNB, and others) | NZ$30 |
Withdrawal limits:
| Period | Limit |
|---|---|
| Daily | $2,000 |
| Weekly | $5,000 |
| Monthly | $20,000 |
A $2,000 daily limit is low for an online casino. Larger wins have to be split across multiple days.
